My name is Takeshi Agata, and I have been appointed President and Representative Director of Tree Climbing World Co., Ltd.
Guided by the motto of our founder, John Gathright, “Let’s make friends with trees,” we aim to contribute to a sustainable society where people connect with trees, learn about them, protect them, make good use of them, and live in harmony with them. We will create opportunities of every kind: experiences, education, training, certification and competitions. In doing so, we will grow as a company whose role is to firmly root safer Tree Climbing® and Arborist® techniques and culture in Japan and pass them on to future generations.
- Tree Climbing® Japan – sharing the wonder of life in the treetops and the chance to learn about tree ecology
- Arborist® Training Institute – developing and delivering training for tree workers known as certified Jugoshi Arborists®, who have world-class safety skills and knowledge of trees
- Tree Climbing® World SHOP – designing and selling reliable tree climbing gear
